Local Music Events in the NCWMEA Region

Music in El Sol

Music Festivl in Royal City, WA, held the last Saturday of June each year. This festival started June 28, 2009, and is a celebration of the diverse culture of the region. Family freindly music including rock, acoustic, funk, country, and alternative styles as well as styles of Latino music including mariachi, conjunto, banda, tejano, and others can be heard in the Royal City park all day. Rhythms on the Lake Music Fest and Wine Walk

September 25–26, 2009
on beautiful Lake Chelan

This year, the valley will be filled with two days of concerts, wine tastings, and fun! This family-friendly weekend showcases the Lake Chelan Valley, its people, and its wineries at its very best. Set against the backdrop of Lake Chelan, this all-ages, two-day music festival showcases renowned and emerging artists on multiple outdoor stages in downtown Chelan and select Winery locations, as well as other local merchants during the Wine Walk & Shop. The Rhythms on the Lake Music Fest & Wine Walk brings together visitors and the Lake Chelan community through an event that celebrates the freedom of expression inherent in music. Summer Grooves Concerts

Celebrate summer in the Lake Chelan Valley with three evenings of FREE outdoor entertainment. The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce invites you to enjoy the sounds of summer with us. All events are held from 6-9pm at Riverwalk Park in downtown Chelan. This picturesque park hosts an amphitheatre overlooking the Chelan River. A beverage garden and food from local vendors will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chairs. Questions? Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival

Located at the Blues Ranch on the Methow River in the resort town of Winthrop, Washington, the Winthrop Blues Festival is a three-day event packed full of exciting national and regional entertainment for all ages. There is on site camping, food and craft vendors, portable showers, and a beer garden. The Blues Ranch is the perfect setting for one of Washington's greatest blues festivals. The Winthrop Blues Festival is the largest and longest running festival in the state of Washington. Over seventy thousand people have attended this event in the past twenty plus years. Past festivals have featured such national artists as Bo Diddley, Bobby Rush, Susan Tedeschi, Koko Taylor, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tower of Power, Delbert McClinton, Elvin Bishop, Little Milton, Tommy Castro, Eric Burdon, Charlie Musselwhite, The Blasters and many others. The festival has rightfully become a destination event with fans traveling from all over the world to enjoy and celebrate the Blues. The next festival will be held July 16 - 18, 2010.
